I've just received the centre-one display 2 screen calibrator from a friend and tried to install the software, withal depending on which folders I try to open I get diverse messages.

If I click Car Run it says that it can't open as classic environment is no longer supported, and if I click on eye-one folder it says PowerPC applications are no longer supported. A quick google says that I have to go back to an older version of OS X, or buy and older organisation which are both no become. Are in that location whatever other options, or can I just non use this device with my MBP?

FYI It'southward an early 2012 (not retina) MBP running OS 10 Mountain Lion 10.eight.5

It'southward also worth mentioning that the filters inside a colorimeter can fade and shift over time, so replacing it periodically isn't the worst thing.

Are you seeing whatsoever strange operation with Mavericks and the ColorMunki software? It hasn't been updated in years and last fourth dimension I used one, on 10.8.5, I was unable to successfully calibrate. I'm wondering if it works meliorate in Mavericks.

I believe there are a few issues with Mavericks. I'm still on Mountain Lion so I tin't be sure. But how were you unable to calibrate on ten.8.v? Was there an error bulletin?

I'm not using Mavericks, I'thousand using Mountain King of beasts. I'll run into if I can dig out where I got it from equally it may work on Mavericks.

My Spyder aristocracy iv works simply fine on Mavericks. It may work on mountain lion.

Solution!

I utilise iDisplay Calc 2 both on windows and mac snow leopard and mavericks. Forget the official software and use iDispCalc GUI. IMO this software is much ameliorate and works on all versions and OSs.

Had an result on mavericks merely this was solved once the latest version of argyll cms engine was installed.

Sorry I tin can't remember and have done a quick search and couldn't find it. Information technology was along time ago and have since upgraded to idisplay pro.

With its plastic lens embrace some viii years onetime (and no incertitude discoloured), I'm not sure I'd trust it anyway.
They do t accept that plastic cover on the newer i1 Brandish Pro or ColorMunki Display.
